(Inaugural) Pride Fest 2021

2021 was the first Disability Pride Festival in Australia! Woot Woot us!!! The program included

  1. Welcome to country by Deborah Lennis (a beautiful moving speech about intersectionality)
  2. Speech by Paralympic Medallist Paul Nunnari
  3. Outdoor pole dance by amputee and world champion Deb Roach
  4. Performance poem by blind dancer Holly Craig
  5. A panel discussion with performers
  6. An arts and crafts contest that everyone could participate in
  7. A wall of remembrance where people could write messages of support to disabled people suffering.
