Transport:

  • Public transport is recommended
  • A taxi rank is approximately 200m away in Bathurst Street near the Cathedral
  • A loading dock is next to the entrance. This will be manned at all times but to avoid congestion call 0419 696 534 on approach.
  • The nearest paid carpark is QVB carpark. A lift will take you to the QVB and it is about 15om to the nearest entrance. You can exit by lift into the ground floor of the QVB.

Physical access:

  • Wheelchair accessible toilets
  • Wheelchair accessible stations (Town Hall and Gadigal) close by
  • Indoor locations accessible by ramp
  • Outdoor location is street level (Druitt Street)
  • Some seating will be available.

D/deaf or hard of hearing :

Auslan interpreters will interpret all stage performances

A hearing loop is available

Neurodiversity:

  • A sensory retreat and rest area will be available indoors.
  • There is substantial background noise at the venue.
  • Volunteers will be able to assist with things like directions and ensuring paths are accessible. If you have any other access needs, please contact us (we are on Facebook Messenger) and we will try to assist you.

Low vision

  • Audio description is available for all stage performances (Please speak to the team about technology)
  • Attempts have been made to keep printed materials accessible
  • Arts and crafts include tactile activities

  • Food and drink is limited inside the venue but there are ample opportunities to purchase within 50-100m
